Welcome to Hills Community Tennis!

October 29, 2020

Friends, neighbors and fellow tennis players of The Hills,

With great sadness that I am writing this email to inform you of the passing of one of our own NJ/Bedminster/Hills/HCTA members. Frank P. Diassi III passed away peacefully in his home on Sunday, October 25, 2020 at the age of 66.  Many of us knew Frank and enjoyed his witty humor and astute conversation, he would engage you on any topic with intelligence, humor and respect.  Frank was an affable, good spirited, loyal friend and neighbor to many of us.  Even if you didn't previously know him he would talk to you as if you were long-time friends.  Over his 35 years living in the Hills, Frank was a regular on the Tennis and basketball courts until his health no longer allowed him to do so. He was an avid all around sports fan.  For many years Frank could be seen walking around The Hills complex for exercise.

Frank was close to his family and is survived by two brothers, one sister, two sister-in-laws, two nieces, one nephew and his father Frank Diassi II.

Frank will be greatly missed certainly within the Hills community by his many friends and neighbors.  We will miss his smile, his wit, his conversation and his all around good nature. Farewell to one of the good guys!

HCTA Members,
To the best of our knowledge,  no members of HCTA have tested positive for Covid NOR are any members currently positive and contagious.  But it’s easily conceivable that there are cases amongst us, or that family members, friends, or co-workers HAVE contracted it. So please remain vigilant with your hand and face washing, mask wearing, and distancing.  Still consider using multiple cans of balls and/or gloves while playing.  Also, frequent taking of your own temperature is highly advisable to detect a problem early.
Outdoor Tennis is one of the very LEAST risky activities for spreading Covid but we should remain alert and safe.

Regards,
HCTA Board
